Free agency talk
"Curt 9ersfan"

As Eric said, we are in our slow time of the year. Some free agents are out there being signed, but for the most part it's the normal roller coaster.

So, I am wondering, if it's the slow time, how come I am so excited about it. Well, let me tell you:

Being a "long-time" 9er fan, this also makes me REALLY despise the Cowboys. You all know where this is headed now, don't you?

Troy Aikman: I feel bad for this guy because he's the same as Steve Young. He was a good QB, but his fragile head is something EVERYBODY needs to be weary of. I heard he's looking at KC for a job right now, so I hope that Dick Vermeil will just put him on the bench. I actually don't mind Aikman. He was a worthy competitor, and did his job well. He is one cowboy that I can actually say that I liked.

Ryan Leaf: Good grief, it's Leaf!!! Is this who they think is going to "save the day" for the 'boys? Man, I can think of LOTS of other QB's out there that would come cheaper, and work a lot harder at being a play-ah, instead of a hate-ah. Let me name a few good possibilities out there: Tommy Maddox: Showing that he as the crappy attitude that fits with a crappy team. He would fit in well throwing down to the rocket and the other greedy whiner Galloway. Jeff Brohm: Now, I don't like using former 49er players' names and Cowboys in the same sentence, but I have to tell ya, this guy has done nothing but impress me on how he throws the ball. He takes a huge hit and is back the next week beating the best teams in the XFL. Not to mention beating another former 49er that would be good for the boys, Druck.

Emmitt Smith: Oh wait.. He's still there. He pisses me off. Him and George Teague both. This is one thing that I kind of agree with the XFL on. Celebrations after a TD is just one of those "team - building" excercises. It's not that big of a deal, and a little scrapping between two teams is not a big deal. I say, as long as Terrell didn't drop his pants and crap on the star, it's ok. He was praising God!! Well, I guess that's what he was doing. Then Emmitt. "oh, boo - hoo, he is a jerk. Where's my daddy, Jerry Jones? He'll comfort me and make me feel better." What a jerk. And Teague, what a bone head. what did he expect? To get the "Dallas citizen of the week" award for hitting Owens? What a goober.

Jerry Jones: Jerry and Al Davis are one and the same as far as I'm concerned. I can't stand either of them, and they don't care about the NFL at all. They are all about making themselves look good at the expense of their teams and players. They should be put out on an island somewhere and be forced to live with each other like on Cast Away. That would teach them.

Joey Galloway: I think the way he made himself look like a "wiener" in Seattle proved that this guy belongs in Dallas.

Teague. what a bone head. I still can't believe it.

Anyway, a quick snap to my 9er buddy Eric, the studpin.

Later, 9ersfan
