Last year the San Francisco Forty Niners were 6-10 and Steve "deer in the headlights" Mariucci was living up to his nickname. The last two years for the San Francisco Forty Niners have been "rebuilding" years and most Niner Fans thought that there would be a few more years until they were back in the hunt.

But low and behold the Niners are playing their biggest game since 1998 when Steve Young threw the winning touchdown pass to Terrell Owens with seconds left in the fourth quarter to beat Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers in a fantastic Wild Card Game in which Mooch and T.O were still talking...and hugging.

December 9.2001, T.O. and Steve Mariucci are not hugging. But they are still on the same team getting ready to play a tackle football game in which the San Francisco Forty Niners could end up victorious.
