| Niners sign Tony Parrish "Cory Rivera" 49ers Paradise Fan Press 04.03.2002 The 49ers have decided to move on without Lance Schulters and have reportedly agreed to a 5-year $12 million contract with free agent safety Tony Parrish. Parrish, 26, was a second round draft pick for Chicago in 1998. He has had a solid career and should be a nice fit into the the young and improving 49ers defense.
The signing of Parrish allows the team to look and fill another position in this month's NFL Draft. The Niners will probably look at a DE or OL in the first round.
